double tree san pedro wedding photographer / krissy + rich
Krissy is my very good friend. We have known each other since with were babies. She helped me accept Christ back in 2013 and been there for me along my journey. Isn't she the most beautiful girl with the most genuine smile. I'm so happy that she met the PERFECT match for her, Rich. He is energetic, full of life and has the best facial expressions. God lead them to each other and there is no doubt about it. This day started at Krissy's parents home, then we took wedding party photos at Malaga Cove. They had a beautiful ceremony at Peninsula Community Church. We then took more romantic photos at Terranea Resort and the reception was at the Double Tree in San Pedro. Some highlights of their wedding was a surprise dance performance by the wedding party then a flash mob with all the 400 guests. Her dad surprised by playing a a beautiful love song on the keyboard and her uncle played the saxophone. It was EPIC!

Words from the bride: We are incredibly thankful for an amazing wedding day that far surpassed our expectations! One of our favorite parts of the day was our wedding ceremony. How sacred it was to enter into the covenant of marriage before God and in the presence of our friends and family. We felt so grateful in those moments at the altar for God's provision of each other and the love and support of our family and friends that we so strongly felt as well. We'll always remember the truth our pastor spoke to us - reminding us that our marriage is not meant for selfish gain but for selflessness and service to one another and that we can't ever be fully satisfied by each other - we must seek ultimate satisfaction and fulfillment from Jesus Christ our Lord. The whole ceremony was so sacred to us - it's hard to put the experience into words! The entire day was also simply incredible - from getting ready, to taking photos, moments with our families and bridal party,  surprise dances by our bridal party and guests, and even a surprise piano/sax performance by my dad and uncle!! We are so thankful for our friends, family, and amazing vendors who helped everything come together. We loved every minute of our wedding day! My advice to future brides would be to make a conscious effort to pause several times throughout your wedding day to really savor the moments. Reflect on the love and support you are receiving, enjoy the funny things that happen, be grateful for the people around you, and take as many mental snapshots as you can. The day passes by so quickly, taking these intentional pauses really helped us savor the day. Another piece of advice is to have a good team of people (like Carissa Woo for photography!). Wedding planning is a lot of work and can be stressful, but having the right people with you makes all the difference. Lastly, try your best to keep things in perspective and remember that in the midst of planning for your wedding it's important to invest time in strengthening your relationship for a healthy and strong marriage. :)
