Jessy and Gigi are dream client. They are so in love, constantly cracking up and they make everyone around them feel so loved. Jessy is from Hawaii and Jessy is from Norway. They have this crazy connection that could not be denied, not even living across the world from each other. Falkner Winery is one of my favorite venues. Every nook and cranny is picturesque. I love these two ladies and I wish them a lifetime of happiness.
Words from Jessy:
My favorite part of the day was seeing my wife as I walked down the aisle. Since we didn't do a first look and stayed apart all day, it was such an amazing feeling to be in that moment. All of the time we spent planning and making sure that everything was just the way we wanted it paid off in the end and we felt so accomplished. Falkner winery was absolutely beautiful and both Krissy and Loretta were such a pleasure to work with. We had fallen in love with venue when we were first driving up the road to do some wine tasting a year ago and couldn't be happier with our decision. Everything about the atmosphere and employees that work there just made us feel right at home so it was an easy decision. Plus, the view is spectacular. We we're fortunate enough to be able to incorporate all aspects of our lives together and stay true to ourselves when it came to music and decor. My aunt is very artistic and volunteered to make Disney themed center pieces for each of the tables. Because we are Disney fanatics, instead of doing table numbers, we assigned each table a different one of our favorite Disney movies. The names were written on a chalk board at the entrance along with iconic still pictures from each movie. They turned out amazing and everyone wanted to take one home!
Instead of hiring entertainment, I asked another one of my other aunt's from Hawaii to do a hula number which was so beautiful and extremely touching. I then surprised my wife with an aparima dance (essentially the Tahitian version of the Hawaiian hula). Over the years, I have pretty much stopped any regular dance practicing and my wife hasn't really ever seen me perform so love was definitely in the air. It was magical.
Some advice for you future brides out there, enjoy the moment! Live in it and take time to enjoy each other. As much fun as it was to see everyone and celebrate, time flew by too fast. Your wedding is to celebrate your union together, not the other people there so just remember that. And also choose a bridal party that is going to have your back 100% so you don't have to worry about anything at all that day. It will help make the day go smoother and less stress for you!
