Wow, this day was literally perfect. Look at these two, they are gorgeous and the weather was perfect. This was my first full EDM wedding. EDM stands for Electric Dance Music. I wanted to dance the whole day. The wedding party was fist pumping down the aisle getting the crowd pumped up. I love these two and they are made for each other.
Words from the bride: Our wedding was just how we envisioned it: a fun party with our closest friends and family, good food, great music, and top-shelf liquor! Tony and I really wanted a wedding that was a true expression of everything we loved. The day was a blur, but we were so happy to see all of our friends and family in one place. It was truly a special day that we'll never forget! After our wedding, everyone kept telling us how much fun they had and they weren't sure whether they were at a wedding or a rave! We were happy to see everyone eating, drinking, and dancing the night away. It was also really important that our wedding was convenient for our guests. We chose Hotel Irvine because it has a very modern and trendy feel, which totally fits our style. We liked the fact that the Pavilion and lawn are really close together, so it would be easy for our guests to find. Also, it's a little secluded from other parts of the hotel so it's kind of like we had our own little wedding area. Since our wedding was also a Tay family reunion, we wanted to make sure that our out of town guests would have the convenience of staying at the hotel and would simply have to walk downstairs for the wedding. (Less driving for everyone!)
It's hard to say what the best part of the day was (besides marrying my best friend) because there were so many moments, but one of them was seeing how happy everyone was that day. It's not too often that we get to see our friends and family celebrating together, so it was really nice to see that.
Advice for brides:
MAKE SURE SOMEONE TAKES CARE OF THE GIFT CARD BOX!! -------> Kind of a joke, but not really haha!
My advice for future brides would be to try to relax the morning of the wedding and not worry about what could go wrong. And things will go wrong, so just accept it and try not to focus on it. No one else will know what details were missed other than you. Enjoy each moment and don't forget to just breathe!
