la arboretum engagement photographer / carolyn + jason

LA Arboretum is always one of my favorite places to shoot. It's like you are in a whole new world where there are beautiful flowers and trees. Carolyn and Jason were referred to me by my college buddy so it was the first time we met at this shoot. At the end of the shoot, Jason said he had never smiled so much in his life. I couldn't stop smiling and laughing while being around them too. Can't wait for their big day next week! Words from Carolyn: So Jason and I met five years ago at a church retreat we were both staff members at. He was initially interested in me first and I thought he wanted nothing to do with me because he wasn’t initially very friendly. Oddly enough I didn’t completely write him off because I would usually do something like that but when he contacted me after The retreat, I was open to being his friend. He became really clear not too long after that he had no intention of being just friends haha I think we are both the most excited for the marriage more than the wedding. We have been together so long and are excited for this next step in. He makes up for my craziness and I bring up his calmness hahaha
