The wedding design was inspired by the love of the outdoors between Alex + Kyle. Adventurers at heart, we wanted to create a design that even in a fresh modern space had rustic details and a touch of A romantic California adventure.
Alex and Kyle love to travel, hike, rock climb, and love the act of service. We at Sparkles and Vintage, wanted to embrace all those details, their travels and adventures in the creation of their wedding design.
The floral design was inspired by a California autumn season with a palette of rich chocolate foliage, combined with a muted California Sunset arrangement of florals. From creams, to blush, peaches to rouge, and little bunny tail grass, a collection of warm colors and eclectic vessels, woven lanterns and brass details all complimenting their love for nature. With the flickering romantic candle light being reminiscent of late-night campfires and fireflies.
The tablescape, a sweetheart vignette set for two with rustic bentwood chairs & table settings provided by La Pinata Party Rentals, on the canvas of a champagne velvet linen by Luxe Lines was a perfect pairing of details and textures.
The dress provided by En Blanc, a crisp white two-piece was the perfect clean aesthetic to compliment The Modern’s details and architecture.
The hunter green three-piece suit, by friar tux reflected Jordan’s love for nature perfectly. Paired with the sweet floral print tie, his love of the wild truly came together with this combo.
The two things that needed to happen were cake and donuts. Nicole Bakes Cakes, created a a joyful masterpiece – a three-tier cake with juicy gold leaf- glazed donuts as a whimsical focal point on the afternoon.
Another sweet moment was the entertainment of the live acoustic guitarist, Moses Lin Music a first dance moment that will never be forgotten.
The details were important for Alex and Kyle, almost reflective of their adventures together, and intricacy of their relationship and how far they have come. A true love artistically documented by Carissa Woo Photography are moments that these two will never forget and can embrace and live forever.
