Pasadena City Hall Engagement / La kisha + Enrique

When I met Lakisha and Enrique at my studio, they filled me up with love and joy. Hearing their love story was beautiful and inspirational. The way they spoke about each other put a smile on my face for the rest of the day. They said they everyday is so sweet ever since the day they have been together. This is what weddings are all about. I love this session at the Pasadena City Hall. Their personalities and love shine through the photographs.

Words from the bride: It is a known fact that there are two sides to every story. It is no different in this case, however, there is his side and the truth! Haha!
We met all the way back in 2009. (Yes we have been together for 10 years!) He noticed that I had changed my hair. I had no clue who he was. Another day, he walked by my area one day and grabbed my elbow (the infamous elbow grab!) and said hello, which puzzled me..thinking nothing of it, my best friend was convinced that he had been watching me. I refused to believe it. Then came the first real encounter. He had came to me at 7:30 in the morning, during my morning rush to ask me out to a Super Bowl party! Super confused at this point, I simply said "we will see." I ended up getting the flu and did not make the party (He doesn't belive this to this day, but my mom can verify!) Haha! Shortly after, the moment that he showed me who he really was...He invited me to his car to get something he had for me (still skeptical, so I wasn't buying it) I stayed where I was and waited for him to come back. Without really knowing me, he gave me two very special gifts, " Something just to make me smile" he said. He got my attention then! We hung out for a bit from then on and eventually became an official couple. It has been a wonderfully amazing experience ever since. I have found my soulmate. Someone who finally saw me for me and accepted my son as his own. We now have two sons and we continue to Live, LAUGH, and Love everyday!
