I went there often when I was a kid with my family, I studied there for summer school in college and I visit there every year for work and to see old friends. Keane flew me out to Hawaii 5 months ago for their engagement session.

Keane and I have known each other from college through a mutual friend. He has grown into a wonderful man of God and he is now a pastor at the most amazing church, Christ Centered Church. I attend every time I go to Hawaii. God put Lauren into his life and they are the sweetest couple. Lauren is a school high school counselor and she runs marathons. She has the cutest smile, I love when her nose scrunches up. I couldn't be happier for them.

The day started very early. I got to the Hilton Hawaiian Village at 5:45am and I eagerly waited for the sun to come up so I  could take the dress and detail shots. It was raining so it was a little difficult. The rain did clear like it always does and Keane and Lauren did an unconventional first look before the ceremony. We placed them back to back and they prayed together while holding hands. It was so special and relaxing way to start the day. The ceremony took place in the Akala Chapel, filled with  tranquil waterfalls and with floor-to-ceiling windows.

There were 400 guests that attended. Lauren did a surprise hula dance for Keane and there was not a dry eye in the room. They had an awesome band, same day edit and the most delicious Hawaiian fusion food. We ended the perfect day on Waikiki Beach. It was the most memorable Hawaii trip and I couldn't feel more blessed.
